Each year about this time, we gather together our Lyman ohana and friends to venture out to the Honolulu Harbor Pilot Station. We memorialize Capt. Dave by scattering some flowers, pouring some cold Budweiser beers, share some stories, lots of laughs, and usually a few tears. Its a melancholy event on the anniversary of Kawika’s accident.
